We are sad to report that Ros Evans died on 31 August 2024.
Ros was a pioneering female fell runner, as well as a top orienteer and cross-country skier.
In 1978 she won the first Women’s Mountain Trial of the modern era and won three more times in 1979, 1980 and 1982.
