We are sad to report the death of Honorary Vice President John Nettleton MBE at the age of 92. John competed in some of the first Mountain Trials in the 1950s, finishing 4th in the 1954 trial. He helped to compile the Fifty Years Running booklet about the first 50 years of the Trial and wrote the

Entries for the 2022 La Sportiva Lake District Mountain Trial opened on 25th April 2022. Please see the Entry page. The venue will be St Johns in the Vale. This year the courses are being planned by Alan Irving. Entries close on Monday 29th August.
